• Authentication and Account Data: Mobile phone number collected during sign-up to authenticate your identity via One-Time Password (OTP).
• Optional Profile Information: If you choose to complete your user profile, we may collect your employment type, city, gender, and date of birth (DOB). Providing this information is entirely optional.
• Financial and Loan Data: User-entered financial parameters including loan names, principal balances, interest rates, tenures, EMIs, and simulation inputs.
• Technical and Diagnostic Data: Device identifiers, operating system details, network data, and crash logs via analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Account Protection: To authenticate your login sessions securely using mobile-based OTP verification.
• Personalized Simulations: To tailor financial calculators and loan projections based on your demographic or professional profile parameters (e.g., assessing loan eligibility or calculation strategies contextualized to your employment or location).
• Service Performance: To maintain app stability, run diagnostics, and fix software bugs.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

Credgy will never ask for or access:

• Bank account passwords or net banking credentials
• Credit card numbers or CVV
• UPI PIN or transaction PIN
• Debit card PIN
• SMS or OTP of other services
• Contacts, photos, or personal files

We do not access your bank accounts. All loan data is entered manually by you.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share limited data with cloud infrastructure, performance monitoring, and communication service providers (such as Google Firebase or AWS) solely to operate the application under strict confidentiality terms.

5. Third Party Services

We use the following trusted infrastructure providers to operate Credgy:

• Firebase: Authentication (OTP), crash reporting, and analytics
• AWS / Railway: Server hosting and database
• MSG91: OTP delivery via SMS

We do not sell your personal information. We only use trusted providers required to operate the service.

6. Data Security and Encryption

We implement robust technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information. All data transmitted between the Credgy app and our servers is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) and is stored using industry-standard encryption at rest.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and financial inputs only for as long as your account remains active or as required to fulfill the operational and legal commitments outlined in this policy.

8. Your Rights and Data Control

• Access and Correction: You can view and edit your profile details directly within the app settings.
• Data Deletion: You have the absolute right to delete your account and wipe your historical records at any time. This can be triggered directly in-app or via our Data Deletion portal.

9. Children's Privacy

Credgy does not intentionally collect or solicit data from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
